Lauren began her insurance career in 2008. Lauren is a personal lines account manager serving the needs of our customers here at BRIA since 2013. She has earned her associate degree in General Insurance (AINS) certification to better serve her clients. In addition to home, auto, umbrella, boat, and RV insurance, Lauren has a special interest in providing farm & ranch insurance, as well as equine and livestock mortality insurance.

Lauren and her husband, Adam, are the proud parents of boy/girl twins who were born in 2019. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys being with her family, reading, and spending time with their three dogs. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is a member of the Association of Former Students of Texas A&M and enjoys watching Aggie sports. In addition, Lauren is an active member of the Arabian Horse Association and enjoys riding and showing her horse at competitions.

Brynn joined BRIA Insurance & Risk Consultants in February 2022. She services a variety of commercial clients. Brynn has worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years. She began her insurance career as a Marketing Secretary for CIGNA and Nationwide Insurance Personal Lines in San Antonio, TX. She began her Commercial Insurance career in 2000 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager and she has worked for several independent insurance agencies throughout the past years. Brynn has a reputation for being detailed, diligent, and friendly. Brynn likes to spend time with family and friends and enjoys the outdoors along with socializing and meeting new people.

John joined BRIA Insurance & Risk Consultants in 1983 and has helped commercial accounts in all types of industries with their commercial property, general liability, garage, auto, workers compensation, construction bonds, cyber, employment practices liability, and professional. He is certified as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM).

While living in Austin, John was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church and the Rotary Club of Austin. Upon moving to Georgetown in 2018, he is now a member of First Baptist Georgetown.

When not working, John enjoys golf, skiing, camping, cycling and attending sporting events with his wife, 3 children and 8 grandkids. John graduated from Texas Tech and his wife graduated from Baylor. Go Big Red and Sic em.

Joyce joined the BRIA family in March of 2021. She has 20 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry. She services a variety of commercial clients. Joyce is friendly, honest, and diligent. She is always making sure her clients are taken care of and is always happy to help out. Joyce likes to spend time with family and friends. You can sometimes catch her watching the Texans or the Aggies play football or watching Nascar. She loves to bake and travel.

A personal account manager at BRIA Insurance & Risk Consultants, Melanie began serving insurance customers in 1993 as a CSR for Sterling Sasser & Sons, Inc. while attending college at Texas State University. She stayed on with that company, advancing to a personal lines manager after graduating with a BBA in Marketing, until the agency was sold in 2009. After taking a year off to be home with young children, Melanie joined the team at BRIA in 2010 to continue serving all forms of insurance for our personal lines clients.

Melanie and her husband, Ben, are the proud parents of Ryan and Allie. When not staying busy with the kids and their various sports and extracurricular activities, Melanie enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her friends, family and pets.

With nearly three decades of experience in the insurance industry, Ron is well-equipped with his LUTCF certification to serve our life and health insurance customers. While not in the office, you can find Ron out on the golf course.

Eloisa Jefferies joined BRIA Insurance & Risk Consultants in August of 2003. Eloisa is a Commercial Account Manager & is fluent bilingual. Eloisa is a member & volunteer of “HWNT” (Hispanic Women of Texas) & numerous other organizations.

As a mother of 3 and grandmother of 10- She enjoys spending time with all her family & friends.

Sindy has been with BRIA since 1985. She served in the benefits department for 30 years and in 2015 became the Receptionist/Executive Assistant for the agency.

She enjoys traveling with her husband. They are a family of two children and love spending time with their grandchildren.

With a career spanning almost 50 years, Vera has a vast knowledge of the best routes to serve the personal insurance customers of BRIA Insurance & Risk Consultants, especially homeowners, renters, auto, umbrella, watercraft, motorcycle, and RV insurance policyholders. Her CISR certification further solidifies the professionalism and exceptional service provided to every client.

In the Austin, Texas, community, you can find Vera at the Active Abiding Love Lutheran Church. She also serves as secretary of the Family Reunion Committee and enjoys spending time with friends and her family of three children.

Having joined BRIA Insurance & Risk Consultants in 2015, Nancy specializes in accounting firm insurance as well as personal lines and commercial lines. Nancy stays fit while hiking the Greenbelt and is a member of both Emmaus Catholic Church in Lakeway, Texas and the Texas Exes (alumni association for University of Texas at Austin graduates).

Shawna joined the BRIA team in February 2020. She has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She obtained her General Lines Agent license in 1996 and earned the CISR designation over ten years ago. She services a variety of commercial clients with a special interest in medical, construction and hospitality risks. Shawna truly enjoys the relationship aspect of this business. She prides herself on providing exceptional service and sound risk management advice.

Shawna is a native Austinite, has a daughter in grade school and is married to her best friend, Michael. When she’s not working, you can find her at Celebration Church in Georgetown, dining out, shopping with her daughter or at home entertaining large groups of family and friends. She has an identical twin sister, her favorite sports team is the Texas Longhorns and her favorite band is Duran Duran.

Don has a nearly 25-year career in insurance, serving our personal insurance customers as well as commercial lines in construction, excavation, quarries, marinas, commercial auto, and more.

Don is active in a variety of local organizations, such as the Marina Association of Texas, Boating Traders Association of Texas, Home Builders Association, and the Texas Aggregates and Concrete Association.

When he finds free time, Don enjoys travel, boating and water sports, cars, mountain biking, hunting, and ranching.

Bill started his insurance experience as a direct writer in 1968, founding the Bill Russell Insurance Agency (BRIA). Bill holds a Local Recording Agents, Group I Life and Health, Surplus Lines Agents, and Managing General Agents residence licenses in the State of Texas, as well as Non-Residents Property and Casualty License in several other States. He has served as the President and Chairman of Bill Russell Insurance Agency, Inc. up until BRIA became an Acrisure Partner Agency on September 1st, 2018. Now Bill serves as managing partner.

In 1997, Bill was one of seven founding members of Combined Agents of America, LLC (CAA). CAA has grown to 55 member agencies, where Bill served as a member of the Board of Directors both as its Treasurer and President. Bill spends most of his time managing the agency, serving his customers by providing Enterprise Risk Management Services and insurance needs. Over the years Bill has developed expertise in a number of industries, including Attorneys, Engineers, Construction, both General & Trade, Manufacturing, Service, Hi Tech, LRO, Wholesale, Trucking, Agri and some Retail.

Professional designations include Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager (CRM).

Bill has served on a number of insurers agency councils including CNA’s Branch and Regional PACER councils, including chairman of Austin Branch PACER, CNA’s National Pro PACER Council, Hanover’s, CU’s and CGU’s Agency Advisory Councils.

Bill is married and has 4 daughters, 4 son-in-laws, and 11 grandchildren. Bill is a member of St. Luke’s the Lake Episcopal Church and enjoys reading, golf, hunting, fishing and time with his family.

Malisa joined the BRIA Insurance & Risk Consultants in June 2018 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. She services a variety of commercial clients. Malisa has worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years. She began her insurance career at The Hartford Insurance Company in the Personal Lines underwriting office in San Antonio, TX.

She began her Commercial Insurance career in 1996 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. She has worked for several independent insurance agencies throughout the past years. Malisa has a reputation for being honest, diligent, and friendly.

Malisa likes spending time with family & friends and often visits Winstar Casino, where she will try her luck at winning a dollar or two & just having fun.

With a career spanning almost 32 years, Lynne is a Personal Lines Account Manager and joined our team here at BRIA in April 2016. She began working in the insurance business in 1987 as a CSR, obtaining her Property & Casualty Insurance License in 1995 and Life & Health License in 2000. She continues to serve all forms of insurance for our personal lines clients and enjoys getting to know them while assisting with their insurance needs.

When not busy at the office she enjoys volunteering, playing tennis, Texas Two-Step and spending time with friends & family.
